There are many catering options available to you when you organize a Seattle Dinner Cruise aboard the classic yacht “Discovery”.
The boat can be chartered at any time of the day or evening. Choose from formal a la carte dining, Hors d’ oeuvres, finger food, sandwiches or barbeques. Morning or afternoon tea can be prepared for sightseeing cruises as well as corporate functions and business meetings. Are you local to Seattle? A boat makes a festive and unique venue for a Seattle Christmas Party and you have the option of joining the Seattle Christmas Ship Parade.

CATERING OPTIONS FOR SEATTLE DINNER CRUISE & SPECIAL EVENTS
- A la carte dining – The dining salon is available for seated meals for parties of up to 12 guests. Be spoiled in intimate and elegant surroundings in a relaxed atmosphere. Discovery has a fully equipped galley and our Chef can create a menu offering a variety of courses that reflect your individual tastes and personality.
- Hors d’oeuvres and finger food – For any Seattle dinner cruise Hors d’ oeuvres are a great option as it allows guests the freedom to explore the boat and enjoy the ever changing Seattle panorama as we cruise. Platters offering a delicious selection of finger food are placed on a decorated table that people can enjoy at their leisure. Hors d’ oeuvres are both fun and filling, can include dessert, and are suitable for any time of day.
- Buffet style menus – Delicious buffets are available whether you are hosting a breakfast, brunch/lunch or dinner cruise.
- Bring your own – You are welcome to organize your own catering subject to approval. This could include bringing platters from Costco or organizing your own chef or Seattle caterer. Please discuss your ideas with us prior to booking your event.
Planning a Dinner Cruise: Keep in mind that there is a lot to see and do and your time on the boat will pass quickly. Discovery has large picture windows throughout the yacht including in the Dining Salon. If you are considering a seated dinner you should allow at least 1 1/2 hours for a 3 course meal. For a 3 hour cruise platters of heavy Hors d’oeuvres are a great option as this gives guests a chance to mingle while eating and enough time to enjoy the beautiful scenery and surroundings.
